Background
The promotion of ‘green cleaning’ and ‘environmentally preferable purchasing’ is becoming commonplace in the cleaning products industry. But what’s behind this push? What’s going on in the regulatory, legislative, and retail arenas that is affecting product formulation, sourcing, and procurement?

How is the cleaning products industry developing formulas with environmental benefits and high efficacy?

By highlighting regulations, voluntary programs and technological developments that impact cleaning products and their ingredients, this Cleaning Product conference will provide insights on all these topical questions.

Richard Sedlak, SDA Senior Vice President, Technical & International Affairs, will serve as chair of the conference and will deliver opening remarks. Kathleen Stanton, SDA Associate Director, Scientific Affairs, will speak on “Sustainability: Getting it Right.”

Who Should Attend?
Consumer product companies, suppliers of chemicals, additives and ingredients, and legislators, law firms and lobbyists can all benefit from this comprehensive assessment of the issues surrounding the cleaning products industry.

Pre-Conference Workshop
Conference attendees can also register to take part in a half-day pre-conference workshop on November 5, “An Introduction to Green Technologies for Cleaning Products,” presented by Dr. Steven Spivak, Chair, Cleaning Industry Research Institute. The workshop is designed to demonstrate the range of technology and formulation choices available to meet the demands and requirements of corporate, institutional and end-user customers.
