Dial, Dow Chemical, Shell Executives Join SDA Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, D.C., December 11, 2006 – Executives from Dial, Dow Chemical, and Shell Chemical LP are the newest members of The Soap and Detergent Association (SDA) Board of Directors.

At its December meeting, the Board elected Robert Chouffot, General Manager for Higher Olefins and Derivatives, Shell Chemical LP; and Horacio Percossi, Vice President, Specialty Chemicals and Acrylic Monomers, The Dow Chemical Company.

Greg Tipsord, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Laundry Care Business Unit, The Dial Corporation – A Henkel Company, was elected by the Board at its June 2006 meeting.

The current term of the new Board members lasts through January 2008.
