| The SDA oleochemical committee is comprised of companies that
produce fatty acids, glycerine, fatty
alcohols, fatty nitrogen derivatives
(fatty nitriles) or methyl esters from
triglycerides in the U.S., Canada or
Mexico. Among other activities,
the committee sponsors an annual
award competition aimed at
furthering the understanding of
oleochemicals and their
applications.
