FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE New Members Join SDA: Gereke Chemicals, Innophos, ISP, Kao Specialties Americas, LANXESS, Monosol, OCI Chemical, Warwick InternationalWASHINGTON, D.C., December 2, 2004 – The Soap and Detergent Association (SDA), the Home of the U.S. Cleaning Product and Oleochemical IndustriesSM, has added several new members to its ranks, following formal approval from the Association’s Board of Directors. Recent additions include: Gereke Chemicals, Inc., based in Pasadena, TX, is a manufacturer of oleochemicals and intermediates and a custom chemical manufacturer for a variety of organic and inorganic chemicals. International Specialty Products (ISP), headquartered in Wayne, NJ, is a large specialty chemical manufacturer. In the household markets, ISP sells a variety of specialties including disintegrants for laundry, dishwashing and household cleaning tablets, dye transfer inhibitors, soil release and anti-redeposition agents, wetting agents for household cleaners, and biocides for HI&I cleaning products.
